4:00 PM – 4:10 PM  : Introduction - Pr Francesco Salvo, SPARK Bordeaux Scientific Director & Alexandra Struk SPARK Bordeaux Program manager

SPARK’s mentorship and funding program provides hands-on advising and funding to Bordeaux University affiliates whose product proposals have been accepted for development. Our "SPARKees" benefit from world-class counsel from industry advisors and academic experts who work closely with them to provide the industry knowledge necessary to move their projects from bench to bedside. 4:10 PM – 4:45 PM :   Optimizing Development Costs: A Detailed Roadmap Approach with Insights from CROs and Investors. -  Wilfrid Mazier, RD-Advice


In this SPARK Bordeaux Seminar, Wilfrid Mazier will discuss how to create a development roadmap for drugs or medical devices, focusing with the end in mind. He will explore effective strategies to minimize development expenses. This session will delve into a comprehensive roadmap, integrating perspectives from Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and investors.

Wilfrid Mazier is a R&D consultant for drug-developing spin-out, startup and biotech. Neuroscientist by training, he spent 13 years occupying R&D roles, from preclinical project manager to department direction, granting him with views and operational experiences from bench to clinical phases.
In 2022, I founded RD-Advice, a consulting company specialized in early stage development (to Phase 1) for small and medium biotech organization. RD-Advice proposes tailor-made and pragmatic consultancies ranging from operational support to strategic scooting on new R&D channels. He recently joined Spark-Bordeaux to support and participate in local innovation originating from academia and hospitals.

 

4:45 PM – 6:00 PM : Let's Challenge SPARKees Roadmaps Around a Buffet !

SPARKees will present their Roadmaps, and together, we will challenge and refine their proposals. Enjoy a buffet while engaging in this collaborative and insightful session.
